What exactly is memory? And how does it change as we age? Join neuropsychologist Cameron Clark for an engaging overview about how our thinking changes over time, and most importantly what we can do about it. Specifically, the talk will cover 1) the different kinds of memory that psychological research has focused on; 2) how age impacts each type of memory; 3) lifestyle factors that can influence memory ability; 4) dementia versus normal forgetting; and 5) mental health and cognition.

Cameron Clark is a clinical neuropsychologist in private practice in Calgary – specializing in neuropsychological assessment, neurorehabilitation, and memory intervention. He operates sharpthinking.org where writes a weekly newsletter offering insights into cognitive health and aging.

After you register through the event registration on the CRTA website you will receive the link to this zoom session. If you have not received it by March 24th, please contact Marg directly.
