A New Year with ARTA and MyARTA

Happy New Year to all ARTA Members! Today marks the official start of ARTA’s self-administration of the Retiree Benefits Plan. It’s an exciting time that comes with many changes — changes that will go a long way to improving your Retiree Benefits Plan experience.

There are a few things you should do right now to get started:

• Destroy your outdated ASEBP paper benefits card
  This card is no longer valid when claiming Health Benefits.
• Put your new ARTA Member ID card, mailed to you on December 9, in your wallet
  Make sure you share this new card with service providers, pharmacists, and your dentist during your next visits so they can update their records and ensure your claims are paid properly.
• Register for MyARTA.net
  This new online tool allows you to manage your benefits from the comfort of your own home. You can download additional copies of your Member ID card and begin submitting online claims right now. Tutorial Videos for all the new tools and functions are available on ARTA’s YouTube Channel.
• Download the ARTA Benefits App
  Search “ARTA Benefits” on the Apple or Android app stores. Before you can log in, you must first activate your MyARTA account on MyARTA.net.
• Submit any existing claims, as well as future claims, directly to ARTA
  This can be done online through MyARTA.net or using new ARTA mail-in forms, which can be downloaded from MyARTA.net.

Please note: while most paper forms can be mailed directly to ARTA’s main office, submit your new paper claims to our claims adjudicator at the address indicated on the claim form. 2021 Claims Forms can be found on myarta.net.

MyARTA.net Registration Contest

You can get to know MyARTA.net at your own pace, but if you register for your account within the first two weeks of the year, you’ll be entered to win a prize!

On January 15, ARTA will be randomly drawing 50 names from the list of MyARTA.net’s registered users, and each name drawn will win a special ARTA to-go drink tumbler. All you have to do to enter is activate your account. If you need a hand doing so, you can read our registration instructions or watch a registration tutorial video on ARTA’s YouTube channel.

Digital Tool Webinars

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the thought of learning a new digital system, there is no need to worry! ARTA staff are hosting a series of live, online webinars to help you ease into everything. There are three webinar topics to choose from, and each one will be offered at a variety of different times to ensure you can fit it into your schedule.
