As such if you are currently travelling outside of Canada and are covered under the ARTA Emergency Travel plan, coverage for illness associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) will cease after a period of ten (10) days, beginning March 13, 2020.

  • Other injury or illness claims for non-coronavirus-related reasons will continue to be covered within the scope of the current contract. As such you may want to consider returning to Canada in a timely manner.
  • Please contact Allianz in the event you need to make a trip interruption claim. Please note Allianz are experiencing higher than normal call volumes.

We will continue to keep our members apprised of further developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently working with Allianz to answer member questions, and will post responses here as we are able.
