ARTA has one of the best voluntary Benefit Plans in Canada.

Established in 1995 by retired teachers for like-minded professionals.

There is a 60 day enrolment window.

If you apply for coverage before, or within 60 days after leaving another group insurance plan, you can join the benefit plan without a medical questionnaire. Apply early so your program is in place when your current coverage ends.

Late Applicants

If you apply for Emergency Travel benefits after the 60 day enrolment window, you may still apply. However you will need to complete a medical questionnaire, and your travel coverage may be denied. If you apply for Dental Care as a late applicant your coverage in your first year of coverage is prorated. You can enrol in Extended Health Care benefits at any time.
